Push works best when HiringCenter is installed on your phone. See Download HiringCenter on mobile.
Enable this device
- Open Your Profile.
- Find push / notification preferences.
- Enable notifications on this device.
- Allow the browser or OS prompt. If you previously blocked it, open the site settings for
app.hiringcenterpro.comand allow notifications, then try again.
On Android you may also need to allow the notification overlay / display-over-other-apps permission so incoming-call and Device Handoff prompts can appear on top of other apps.
Choose what you receive
Turn each type on or off:
| Preference | When it fires |
|---|---|
| New Prospects | A new prospect is created |
| Incoming Texts | New text messages |
| Incoming Calls | Incoming calls |
| Incoming Emails | New emails |
| Voicemail | New voicemails |
| Mentions | Someone @mentions you in a note |
| Tasks | Task updates and assignments (off by default) |
| Meeting waiting rooms | Someone joins your meeting waiting room |
| Hires | Hire updates (off by default) |
| Device Handoff | A text, email, or call is queued for you to send from your phone |
These are per user. They do not change the in-app bell.
Tips
- Enable push on the phone you use for Device Handoff so you get a prompt when something is queued. You can still open Conversations on that phone and send without push.
- Meeting-room waiting notifications follow you across accounts, the same way incoming calls do.
- Do Not Disturb quiets call ringing; it does not turn these preferences off.
