Your Profile
Virtual Meeting Room
Every user can have a personal video meeting room with a public link, a waiting room, and optional visitor messages.
Controls on this page stay locked until an admin turns on meeting rooms for the account. Admins do that from Meeting Rooms (profile menu, under Jobs). See Meeting Rooms for the full host and visitor flow.
Path: profile menu → Your Profile → Virtual Meeting Room
What you can set
When the account master switch is on:
- Enable or disable your personal room
- Edit your room slug (the last part of the URL)
- Copy your personal link
- Set the waiting-room message, expired message, and completed message
The same personal room can also be managed from Meeting Rooms if you are an admin or owner.
Enable your room
- Confirm an admin has enabled meeting rooms (otherwise the switches are disabled).
- Open Your Profile → Virtual Meeting Room.
- Turn the room on.
- The first time, the slug defaults to
firstname-lastnamein lowercase. You can edit it. - Copy the link and share it, or insert Virtual Meeting Room from a template, automation, or the conversation camera action.
Your personal URL looks like /meet/{account-slug}/{your-slug}. A prospect-specific link adds a short hash at the end so the visitor skips the name/phone/email form.
Messages visitors see
- Waiting-room message — while they wait to be admitted
- Expired message — if they wait 15 minutes without being admitted
- Completed message — after the meeting ends
Tips
- Recording and transcription are always on for meeting rooms. Visitors see a Transcribing chip in the live room. Video and audio files are not stored; HiringCenter keeps a transcript and AI notes.
- Rooms are capped at 30 minutes (or 60 on accounts with premium video).
- You can only run a voice call or a video room at one time, not both.
