Sending Text Messages

Send SMS from a HiringCenter identity (the account phone number).

Path: Conversations → select the prospect → type in the composer → Send

Steps

1. Open Conversations and select the prospect (or search, then open Details and go to Conversations).
2. Type the message.
3. Optionally insert a Template, Snippet, emoji, or image.
4. Optionally click AI suggest (beta; not for multi-prospect groups).
5. Send, or Schedule for later.

If no conversation exists, Start Conversation → HiringCenter Identity → pick the identity whose phone should send.

Schedule

Type the SMS → Schedule → pick date and time → Send. A chip shows the scheduled time; edit or remove it from the chip. Full steps: Schedule a Text or Email.

Device Handoff texts

To send from your phone’s number, choose Device Handoff on Start Conversation (or switch to a Device Handoff conversation). Enable Device Handoff on Your Profile and complete the send on your phone. See Use Personal Number / Email.

Tips

• Respect communication preferences on the prospect if they unsubscribed from text.
• Failed sends show a red !. Open the bubble for the error, then retry or fix the number.
• Group texts do not support AI suggest.
